Recently two international reports regarding mining industry have been published.
The first study entitled “Fraser Institute Annual Survey of Mining Companies 2016” has been prepared by “Fraser Institute” – Canadian think tank organisation. The study presents the results of survey of mining and exploration companies, based on 350 responses from 104 jurisdictions. The mentioned survey in English can be found at the following address:

The second study has been prepared by “Tillväxtanalys” – Swedish Agency for Growth Policy Analysis which is under the direction of the Ministry of Enterprise, Energy and Communications. The study regards the international outlook of the matters of permits and environmental assessments to open mines (Tillstånd och miljöprövning för att öppna gruvor – en internationell utblick). The Agency has reviewed the mining laws and environmental laws regulating prospecting and mining in six countries or regions with a well-developed mining industry: Sweden, Finland, Poland, Western Australia (Australia), Minas Gerais (Brazil) and Ontario (Canada).
